What is a reed diffuser?

A reed diffuser is the most continuous form of home fragrance. Reeds, often in rattan or fiber, sit in a bottle of concentrated fragrance, draw it up by capillary action, and release it slowly into the air. No flame, no heat: diffusion happens on its own, steady and controlled, with an intensity you adjust simply by the number of reeds.
