On first use, let your candle burn until the entire surface of the wax has melted to prevent the wax from tunneling and forming a well around the wick. Before each lighting, trim the wick to 3mm to avoid any smoke. Your candle will burn evenly if you ensure the wick is straight and centered when extinguishing it.
